This is one of the rare, triple-distilled single malts--Benrinnes, Springbank and Rosebank being the only others. Auchentoshan is a very light-bodied malt.
Light gold. Very smooth. Hints of aniseed and raisins with a lime freshness. Tangerine and fruit flavours with a definite sweetness in the aftertaste. Light, fresh and clean.

Bladnoch Distillery was founded in 1817 by the McClelland brothers, John and Thomas. It is the southernmost of all Scotland distilleries.

Dry. Oily, distinct violet (Parfait d'amour) and some liquorice.

One of only two lowland distilleries still open. It is an excellent introduction to the world of single malts for the newcomer and a refreshing, light example of a classic Lowland for the experienced malt lover.

A very rare malt, produced in the imposing distillery complex at Ballantine's home base in Dumbarton.
Once described as 'a Lowlander wearing a kilt' this malt has a light, floral, fragrant nose with a sweet nutty palate.

Littlemill may be the oldest distillery in Scotland. It is possible that whisky has been distilled, at least on the site where Littlemill Distillery now sits, since the fourteenth century.
