Erdinger Weissbier Pikantus 'dark bock beer'
Bavaria's strong specialty is a delicacy to be enjoyed in the colder months of the year.
At 7.3% alcohol, this specialty wheat beer has a considerably higher alcohol content than other varieties produced by Erdinger Weissbräu. The dark bock beer owes its sharp and full flavor to the use of selected dark wheat and barley malts and a significantly longer maturing process.

A particularly strong, spicy aroma, a distinctive yeast flavour and an unmistakable top-fermenting beer profile - these are the characteristics of Erdinger's new family member in good old Bavarian tradition. The recipe for Urweisse dates back to the brewery's founding days over 120 years ago. It owes its distinctive, traditional weissbier flavour to a special malt, a different hop variety and a special yeast.

A light, easy drinking pilsner with a slight hoppy finish. Brewed to the German purity laws of 1516.

Pale lemony gold in colour with a pure white lasting head the aroma is lightly fruity with some flowery hops. Taste is very clean, a result unlike normal ales, of cold conditioning. Fresh, with just a touch of bitter hops.

This is probably the most bitter of the Nothern German Pilsners.
The aroma is resiny hops and booming malt leading to a beer with a typical pure white head and just the right amount of carbonation. The taste is of grassy, resiny hops held up well by a very supportive malt base. The label says 'Friesisch Herb' which is 'Fresh, dry' and this is so. The beer is bouncingly fresh, but dry from the high hop rate though still with plenty of mouth feel. It continues through to a refreshing, dry hoppy finish.

Kuppers has a pale golden colour, and a delicate refreshing taste.

On the palate this beer is extremely light and smooth, with little evidence of its strength. Lemon zest is also present, though without any associated sharpness. The finish is very clean.

Paulaner is without doubt one of the finest wheat beers available, with its thick white head and subtle flavours of cloves very little can touch it on a hot summers day.

Paulanor Original has a pronounced grainy malt character, with smooth grassy butter in the mouth. The hops give it a balanced bitter-lemon cleanliness that lasts through to the end.

The smoky flavour is achieved by exposing the malt to the intense, aromatic smoke of burning beech-wood logs at the Schlenkerla-maltings. After mixing it with premium-class hops in the brew, it matures in 700 year old cellars. A rare and classic style

Originally brewed to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Holland’s pioneering alliance of ABT craft beer cafes, Schneider-Weisse TAP X: Nelson Sauvin marks a series of firsts for Germany’s longest-running wheat brewery. Rich and golden with floral and fruit overtones, this bottle fermented weizenbock not only represents the inaugural release in Schneider’s experimental Tap X series, but it is also the first Schneider beer to be brewed with a Belgian yeast strain since the brewery’s inception in 1872.
