Dupont Bottle Conditioned.A mixture of 4 special malts results into this unusual colour, light dark brown going into russet. The aromas of hop and special malts create the dominating taste in this beer.Moinette brune combines slight bitterness with a fruity touch.
Oerbier means original, from the source. This beer has been brewed in small scale (5 gallons) at home in a copper wash kettle, by two brothers who were students at the time.Oerbier is brewed from all different malts, Poperinge Golding hops in flowers and a special yeast which makes it a little tart, especially with aging.
The Abbey of Orval is located near Florenville, Belgium in the provence of Luxembourg.
