German beer is a firm favourite here in the UK and comes in many different styles. Beers such as Pilsner, Weissbiers, Dunkels and Pikantus Bock all have their own distinct tastes. These German beer styles are normally focused around specific regions of Germany but Pilsner is without a doubt the most well known and popular.

Germany has specific brewery laws, which mean that brewers of German Beer are only allowed to use four ingredients namely, hops, malt, water and yeast. These restrictions have led to brewers using their own different techniques to develop distinct flavours and use only the best ingredients they can get their hands on.
