The background terroir in the south east of England on the Downs is identical to that of Champagne; a chalky or limestone outcrop with alluvial clay deposits just below the surface. This clean and refreshing sparkling wine is made by the traditional method.

The Bacchus grape, named after the Roman God of wine, produces a fresh and crisp wine with excellent citrus fruit characters and a refreshing finish.

Chapel Down Flint Dry is made from the Muller-Thurgau, or as it is known in Luxembourg the Rivaner, grape. It undergoes extended yeast contact after fermentation that adds body, flavour and complexity.

This wine is lively and fragrant with a distinctive 'sur lie' aroma following through with an attractive clean crisp fruit palate and a refreshing finish.

Released after six years ageing on the yeast lees it is rich and toasty, but with great freshness. The palate has superb complex fruit flavours and exceptional length.

Clean, fresh green apple on the palate. The mousse is soft and gives a lovely delicacy to the wine. The long finish is buttery and toasty - this is a sophisticated and elegant wine.
